This Year's VisionWalk
FUN-draising Events
Each year we join the rest of the teams to embark on a walk (or run) to fight blindness. It is always a lot of fun as each team celebrates all their hard work to raise much needed funds for research to find a cure for blindness! This coming year brings us much hope that we are getting closer to that cure! Join us!
We look for fun ways to engage our community and raise funds to fight blindness and keep our community safe. We started the Diuble Family Vision foundation to take on key projects that can help with research and now with our DEPP project, to help keep folks with vision and hearing issues safe!

DFV SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Diuble Family Vision launched their scholarship program in 2019 and awarded a $1,000 scholarship to the first recipient of, what we like to call our "Do Gooder" Award!
​
We continue to reach out into the community and look for opportunities to support our young leaders that are headed out into the world to make positive changes in the world around them.

Applications will begin to be accepted starting in February 2024.

The goal of the DFV Emergency Preparedness Program (DEPP) is to get one alarm system for every hard of hearing or deaf child for free, that connects a weather radio, smoke alarm, and a carbon monoxide alarm to a bed shaker to wake the hard of hearing sleeper. It also has a bright LED light that can be “seen” by many visually impaired users.
We decided early on not to be paralyzed by our obstacles ... but to rise up and do something about it. Because we personally face vision and hearing issues daily, we know how important this quest is to those who are also facing similar challenges. We are committed and KNOW we can find a cure!
